Dark Night Live will begin on August 8th, 2025 at 7pm. The event will run overnight, from dusk until dawn. Audience members will be able to reserve tickets for a particular time during the 12 hour performance.

INSPIRING + MULTIFACETED
Dark Night centers around a 12 hour solo tap dance meditation. This has never been done before.
A tap dancer has never tap danced in public for 12hrs straight for the sake of this message.
The dark night of the soul – the isolation, pain, and grief – is common to many. Those who chose to endure can exit the night transformed.
Andrew will embody this journey through his 12 hour performance, inviting others to bear witness, reflect, and be encouraged.
You are not alone – watch and see.

The live event will feature Andrew's performance, immersive projections, and interactive installations inviting audience to contemplate the enduring spirit within us all.
EXTENDED REACH + DEEPER IMPACT
Live events are notorious for their ephemeral nature. With a project like Dark Night, it is especially important to extend the life of the live event. We're doing this in three ways.
Short Film – The Dark Night Short Film will be submitted to film festivals and available for screening through an online platform.
Photo Book – The Dark Night Photo Book will memorialize the live event – the physical embodiment of endurance, audience interaction with the ideas, and personal reflections by Andrew and other members of the team – in a physical way.
Teaching Resources – Dark Night Teaching Resources will be produced and made available for those eager to go deeper. These resources will focus on the idea of the dark night, how it shows up, the spiritual formation that occurs because of it, how one might endure their own dark night, or be a companion to a friend enduring theirs.
